How $PLANETPAD works
Every world waits for its first coin. Launch it on Pump.fun right here and, once Solana verifies it, the world is yours in-app. Then hold it: anyone can vamp it with a rival coin, and after 24 hours the higher average market cap over the final hour wins.
Claim a world in four steps
- Step 1
Pick a world
Spin the map or search. Opening a world page never claims it.
- Step 2
Connect your wallet
Any Solana wallet. Connecting is free and reserves nothing.
- Step 3
Approve the launch
Sign one message, approve one transaction (two if you add an initial buy). Your wallet shows the cost first.
- Step 4
Claimed automatically
Once Solana confirms it and we verify it, the world is yours in-app. No separate claim step.
Vamp races
Claimed worlds aren't locked. Anyone can challenge the holder with a rival coin. The average market cap over the final hour decides who keeps it, not a single moment.
- Challenge
Vamp
Launch a rival coin for a claimed world from its page.
- Countdown
24-hour race
The first vamp starts a 24-hour clock. More rivals can join until it ends.
- Result
Highest average holds
Every coin's market cap is read once a minute over the final hour. The highest average holds the world. Ties go to the holder.
Every result goes into the world's race history. The longest reigns, most defences, biggest takeovers and closest finishes are on the leaderboard's Records tab.
Where the fees go
Every trade of a PlanetPad coin on Pump.fun pays a creator fee. At launch, the coin's fee split is set on chain. Pump.fun allows that once, so the split is permanent.
Creator fees of every PlanetPad coin
Your wallet
Paid out to you automatically by the hourly run, or claim it any time on Pump.fun. It goes to the wallet that launched the coin, for good.
Buys $PLANETPAD → burned
PlanetPad's treasury spends its share on $PLANETPAD every hour and burns every token it buys.
A coin only counts for a world once PlanetPad has verified its split on chain. Nobody, PlanetPad included, can change a split after launch.

Good questions
When exactly is my world claimed?
As soon as your launch is confirmed on Solana and PlanetPad verifies it on chain: the coin exists on Pump.fun, your wallet launched it, its fee split is set, and it was launched for this world. That usually takes a few seconds after you approve.
Browsing, opening a world page or connecting a wallet never claims anything.
Do I pay separately to claim?
No. There's no claim fee and no separate claim transaction: the launch itself claims the world. The creation fee is 0 SOL; you only pay Solana network fees (about 0.01 SOL) plus any optional initial buy you choose. Your wallet shows the exact total before you approve.
What does "Reserved" mean?
When you sign the launch request for an open world, it's held for you for 10 minutes so nobody else can claim it while your launch goes through. Signing is free, and a wallet holds one reservation at a time.
If your launch doesn't land in time, the world opens again. If someone else claims it first, your coin isn't wasted: it joins as a vamp and starts (or joins) a race for that world.
Can I use a coin I already launched?
No. A world is claimed only by a new coin launched from its page on PlanetPad, so we can verify it was made for that world and carries PlanetPad's fee split.
If your launch went through but the page closed before it was verified, open the world page again and press Verify status. Don't launch a second coin.
Who gets the creator fees?
Both of you, split on chain. When you launch, PlanetPad sets the coin's Pump.fun fee split: 80% of its creator fees go to your wallet, the one that launched it, and 20% to PlanetPad's treasury.
Pump.fun lets a split be set only once, so it's permanent. Nobody can change it later, PlanetPad included. Your share is paid out automatically; see Where the fees go.
What is mass?
Mass here means the coin's market cap on Pump.fun, in US dollars. It's read live from the coin's bonding curve on Solana, or from Jupiter once the coin has graduated. The leaderboard ranks worlds by mass, and races are decided by its average over the final hour.
What is a vamp?
Vamping is launching a rival coin for a world that's already claimed. You do it from the world's page with the same steps as a claim: sign one message, approve one transaction (two if you add an initial buy). The vamp coin gets the same fee split. Once it's verified, it challenges the holder in a race.
How is a race decided?
The first vamp starts a 24-hour clock. Over the final hour, PlanetPad reads every entrant's market cap in USD once a minute. When the race ends, the coin with the highest average over those minutes holds the world. A tie goes to the current holder.
A coin that joins late counts as $0 for every minute before it joined. A minute in which no price could be read is left out for everyone, and a coin whose own price is missing keeps its last reading (or counts as $0 if it has none yet).
The result, with each coin's average, is saved to the world's race history, and the world can be vamped again.
Can someone snipe a race?
Not with a last-second pump. If a race were decided by one moment, someone could buy heavily in the final seconds, win the world and sell straight after. PlanetPad averages each coin's market cap over the final hour instead, one reading a minute, so a spike in the last seconds counts for just one of those minutes.
To win, a coin has to keep a higher market cap for most of the final hour, which means holding the price up the whole time rather than for a few seconds. Vamping in the last minute doesn't help either: a late entrant counts as $0 for the minutes before it joined.
Can I vamp during a race?
Yes. While a race is running, anyone can join it by vamping from the world's page. The new coin enters the same race and the end time doesn't change. Joining late has a cost, though: the new coin counts as $0 for every scored minute before it joined.
What happens to losing coins?
Nothing changes on Pump.fun. Losing coins keep trading there like any other coin, and their creators keep earning their share of the creator fees. They just don't hold the world on PlanetPad. To challenge again, launch a new vamp.
